How do I React?
Galatians 5:16 - This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. Here is my biggest challenge in my walk with #Jesus . Learning to NOT react or to react under direction of the Holy Spirit and not my own carnal thinking.... to NOT allow my emotion to determine my reaction, but to trust in God's truth and wisdom and to love, to listen, and to follow His lead even when I don't fully understand. Proverbs 3:5-6 - Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. We are prompted to ACT, and to REACT every day of our life. But, more often than not, we can react in ways that are not Biblical, not life-giving.. that are contradictory to God's first and greatest commandment (Love) and Jesus' teaching: Matthew 5:39 - But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him...
