Walking after the Holy Spirit
Romans 8:2 - " For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death ." I have often pondered the legalism that I've witnessed among people who genuinely believe in the supernatural work of God. How is it that so many structures and rules are put in place (over and over) by those who left the mainline churches to follow a more peculiar path with #Jesus ... only to find themselves adhering to an even stricter code of religion? It seems there is some sort of trap that ensnares believers of every type. We must do it this way. We must say it that way. This is heresy. That is idolatry. We must be 'covered'. We must pray this way. We must worship that way . You can't do that . All of these statements are uttered again and again by sold out Christians (including me!). Why are we doing this?
